This is the fourth book in the series and the fourth serial killer in the city. Each has given themself a name (The Chosen One, John Fathers, The Reviver). All have ties to the Catholic Church and use religious overtones. What say you?

Anita (anitanodiva) | 2973 comments Lisa Jackson has a real problem with the Catholic Church and religion in general. She has shown no person of faith in a positive light. I really don't care for this bias.

Lisa - (Aussie Girl) There is definitely some issues with the Catholic Church. But I wonder if Lisa Jackson has a personal problem or if she has just hit on this as a theme and run with it. The series has it problems but overall I'm finding it quite entertaining.

I'm not finding it entertaining at all. Using the same format and themes, book after book, is tiresome. Just changing the names and a few circumstances isn’t working for me.

Anita (anitanodiva) | 2973 comments I agree with your both, Lisa and Jonetta. I find them entertaining in a train wreck sorta way and I find them tiresome in the repetition department.
