I didn't even consider that the sample might have been compromised. So I was left with how she could have had sex with another guy. It was pretty obvious the sample was compromised, I just didn't clue in to that.
It was pretty obvious that Eve wouldn't have knowingly had sex with someone other than Cole so it was a big clue that someone was playing her here. There was no sign of force but that didn't mean that someone hadn't drugged her and violated her. And in hindsight the alternative was someone compromised the samples in the lab. If I'd thought about that it would have led to realising who the killer was.. but I didn't.
It never even occurred to me to think the samples had been compromised and I should have. Eve didn’t have any time to be with anyone else but Cole unless it happened in the hospital, which would have been impossible since she was in ICU. I missed the obvious here.
