One of the reasons why Eve was considered an unreliable witness and Cole was released is the discovery of two separate samples of semen in her rape kit. Did you ever consider the samples were compromised or did you try and figure out how Eve had sex with two men that night?

Anita (anitanodiva) | 2973 comments I didn't even consider that the sample might have been compromised. So I was left with how she could have had sex with another guy. It was pretty obvious the sample was compromised, I just didn't clue in to that.

Lisa - (Aussie Girl) It was pretty obvious that Eve wouldn't have knowingly had sex with someone other than Cole so it was a big clue that someone was playing her here. There was no sign of force but that didn't mean that someone hadn't drugged her and violated her. And in hindsight the alternative was someone compromised the samples in the lab. If I'd thought about that it would have led to realising who the killer was.. but I didn't.

It never even occurred to me to think the samples had been compromised and I should have. Eve didn’t have any time to be with anyone else but Cole unless it happened in the hospital, which would have been impossible since she was in ICU. I missed the obvious here.
