We know a killer is waiting outside the cabin when Eve arrives but later, she sees Cole right after she discovers Roy’s body but before she’s shot. What did you think had happened?

[Anita]

I knew that it couldn't have been Cole who shot her, so I thought that the killer must look a lot like Cole and that Eve was mistaken due to being shot in the head.

Yeah, as Cole was the hero it seemed that this scene was included to create confusion and conflict right away. Pretty clear that he wouldn't have shot Eve unless it was accidentally and there was a whole lot more going on. Did Eve imagine it or was he really there but for some reason denying it?

I was awfully confused. I knew the person that killed Roy was out there and heading for Eve. But she saw Cole and he appeared to be shooting at her.
