Max goes back to Fringe to talk to Melinda Sanchez, Bachman’s coworker, and sees Ava Raines there with a friend. Did that get your attention at the time, cause you to question why she’d go back there or was it not out of normal behavior?

[Sharon]

It concerned me. Why would someone who was in the hands of a killer go back to the place they met? It didn't make sense to me. I knew there was something off about Ava; this just put her high on my list. I didn't know if she had a plan for Bachman or Max, but I knew she was going to play a bigger role in the story.

That was a big “whoa” moment, especially after how Adam Bachman reacted to her testimony. I had similar thoughts to yours, Sharon, and was just waiting for when we’d see her again.

Who would do this???

I did think it was strange that a person would return to the site where she had been abducted. But, I dropped the ball and didn't go any further in thinking about it.

This finally got my attention about Ava, especially after Adam's reaction to her testimony. I didn't understand why she could ever go to that place again.

I guess it depends on the person. I personally would not have gone back. Since Ava was with friends, I guess I just never thought about it.

I would not ever have gone back to such a place, but I just thought that Ava was young and careless. My detecting antennae need polishing [or whatever...;-)].

I feel that way sometimes. In hindsight I feel like I should have caught a few clues.

Part of my awareness comes from how I feel about places where I’ve had a bad experience. After what happened at Fringe, it would have taken an army to get me back in there. Ava should have been experiencing some trauma about all of it. She seemed completely unaffected.
