6 years ago, Julia signed her divorce papers that left her world rocked. Her then husband Eddie left her for another woman. Julia does all she can to rebuild her life. During this time, she is also supporting her two grown daughters who are broken by their father, who they feel has put his new wife before them.

Julia settles into her new condo and meets a nice wonderful man. She is believing she can maybe once again find love. While Julia is finding herself and love, she learns through may twists and turns that her father's words are ringing true....."It's better this way."


I love Debbie Macomber and this was a great book. This book made me smile and at times "cry" or tear up a bit. This one hit home for me....coming off a year plus of being divorced myself. I see the words "it's better this way" come true in my own life and that there is hope for love again somewhere in my future.
