**Remember to use the first edition Kindle page count only! If your page count comes from a Kindle edition published on the initial publication date on the editions page, it will count. If your page count comes from a Kindle edition labeled '1st edition', it will count. If your page count comes from the earliest dated English language Kindle edition, it will count. I am looking for one of those three things when confirming your books! As long the page count you list is correct, I will accept any link to the book. Ebook page count will be acceptable if no Kindle page count available. The acceptability of other page counts will be made on an individual basis.**
Please note that a rating is now required in your completion posts! A small review is also welcome. 😊

Please select a team leader to help keep track of where your team is in any given task. And as necessary guide discussions for task decisions. Any teammate can report your completions though.
Remember, it is the team's responsibility to notify the host (me) if a teammate fails to complete the task in a timely manner or otherwise goes missing! I am not checking all the team threads regularly to notice and may only check when notified a task is complete.
PS - If you want to be known as anything other than Team 10, you are free to come up with a team name. 😉

I love reading. I tend to read romance, horror, and fantasy the most. I'll also pick up thrillers and sci-fi if the book blurb sounds interesting. The first three are my favorite genres to read though.
Other than reading, I like to play games now and then. I also love to do paper crafts. I am limited on the amount of time I can sit at a table though due to a leg injury I received last year. I can walk some but am pretty much laid up in my recliner for a good portion of the day.
I don't tend to watch a great deal of tv. I do catch the anime they show on the Cartoon Network on Saturday though. I love anime and Korean dramas. I also love horror and fantasy movies a ton.
I tried to think up a couple of team names. I came up with:
Romance Racers
Racing Readers
Adventurers in Romance
Reading Addicts
They aren't the greatest, but I'll keep thinking and post if something else sounds good.
Has anyone ever done this challenge before? Who wants to be captain?
I think that is all I have for now.

I'm from India and I'm 19 years old. I'm doing my bachelors in technology here and am writing an entrance exam for getting into another online degree Oct first week. Since we still have online classes here, I'm on goodreads throughout the whole day , on and off..
I love to read Fantasy , Romance , YA and Horror. I dont mind reading anything other than non fiction..
I love to play video games and solve jigsaws with my siblings. I also love watching new series , especially Horror series with my sister..
I havent done this challenge before . This would be my first time. I don't mind being the captain..
Hoping to have fun with you guys here :)

I like the Reading Addicts!

Yes every book must be tagged MPG Romance or the book will be dis..."
Right.. so we don't need to track our tasks , right?
MK already has a post for that...
Or should we have a post for tracking too?

Yes every book must be tagged MPG Romance or the book will be dis..."
actually books in this challenge don't need to be MPG Romance (unless that is specific task of course) last paragraph on first post in sign up thread:
There is a 150 page minimum for books, rereads and audios ok. Books may only be used once per player during the challenge. Players may read the same book for a task unless otherwise specified. Books do not have to be romance, but must be fiction.

My name is Nikki and I live in Sydney Australia with my husband, 9 year old daughter, 1 dog and 1 cat.
I read mostly paranormal, paranormal romance but will also read ya, cozies, thrillers, contemporary and historical romances depending on my mood. I think I have played nearly every round of this game so far.
Happy for Charanya to be captain and let me know if you need help.
What my team did last round prior to starting was to identify questions for example 82. Each teammate reads a different book from the same series. so we could make some of those decisions early and save time once the challenge starts for reading:
i found this worked really well and saved us a lot of time throughout the challenge. This is also one of my favourite challenges so looking forward to it :-)

Nikk, that sounds like a really good idea. For #82 or similar challenges, we could make a post and keep track of who is reading what. I can work on doing that.
For series' where we each have to read a separate book, we will need to pick one where each book is part of the series but covers a different character or event. I'll mark down the numbers we need to look for books for and decide on. I should have that up by tomorrow night.

1. Each player reads a book by the same author, teams decide author.
- Tymber Dalton

- What does tagged/shelved 'favorite' mean?

- I am fine with any year picked, I just prefer more recent than older.
28. Each teammate reads a book from a teammate's to-read shelf, no pass for this task.
-
29. Read over 750 pages in books about the same profession, teams decide which profession.

- I have no idea about this. I don't really care what we pick for this one.
50. Read 6 books set in the same location, teams decide the location
- This is a little harder. Do we pick the same town/city? If so, I would go with someplace that easy to find books set in. I know of several books set in Chicago, London, and New York City. If we go by state, it would be easier. What do you guys think?
51. Each teammate reads a different book by the same author, no pass for this task.

56. As a team, pick a list with over 100 romance books on it, each member reads a book from that list. No pass for this task.
- We could each pick 25 books and add them together to make one list. Do we want to set up a Google Doc to keep all this info in? If so, I can do that without any trouble.
58. Read 6 books published in the year one of the teammates joined RRRC, teams decide which teammate.
- I found where it says I've been a group member since March 30, 2012.

- I'm okay with whatever sub-genre.
71. Pick another team and each member reads one book that was read by a member for this challenge. No pass for this task.

- Born in the 1970's

- Charanya - Reads a book from Lioness7
- Lioness7 - Reads a book from Nikk
- Nikk - Reads a book from Sexyladi
- Sexyladi - Reads a book from Charanya
79. Read 6 books that have the same romance trope, teams decide which trope.

- Well, I was born in 76.
92. Read over 1500 pages in books set in the future or the past - teams decide.
I prefer future but have some historical romances I could read for this.
93. As a team, pick a Romance List from GR Listopia with less than 100 books on it, each teammate reads a book from that list. No pass for this task.
- I'll have to do a little looking before listing some.
94. Read 6 books published in sequential years, teams decide years.
- I prefer more recent but don't care which.
95. As a team, select an animal. Read 8 books tagged with that animal.
- Wolves have quite a few books.

- I prefer moon.
99. Each teammate lists 5 favorite books. Select books from 2 different teammates and read them.

The book should have been shelved as favourite. In the website, if you look at the book , you get the main genres on the right. There'd be an link to 'see more shelves' , which shows us what people have shelved the book as. The word favourites must be there.
For example, in I'll Be There , which I'm going to read, the genres are YA, Family, Sociology etc.. If you click on the 'See more shelves', you are redirected to this page

Which month are we gonna read for?
0. Each teammate reads a book initially published in a fall month, teams decide which month.
As a team select a fall month. Fall this year is from September 22 through December 21 - so you may select September, October, November or December, then everyone reads a book initially published in the selected month of any year. For this task, use the initial publication date. If there is a date listed at the top of the editions page - use it! Otherwise I will be looking for the earliest dated English language edition regardless of format for the qualification. Please include the selected month in your completion posts.
