Series gets better and better! (Must read books in order) This series revolves around the Ladysmith Library and its secrets. Vesper and Sebastian go after the next book. Series may be a bit dark for some, but I’m loving it! I love how Sebastian calls Ves, Angel… so sweet. And I’m so happy to see Noct get his love as well

What I disliked: Zoe and Max dancing around each other. This slow burn is irritating to me for some reason. Information dump then more dump! It is always the same. Very annoying
What I loved:
Zoe and Dorian. There byplay was wonderful. Dorian was snarky and could cook a dream. In this Zoe was trying to save Dorian from a terrible fate of being trapped in stone. I will of course read the next book in this series.

Hope you find them!

I need to figure out what this is in cet...

This story left me smiling. A coming of age/gay for you type story. Jordan's voice with its touch of humor was perfect. Jordan and Owen are best friends and inseparable since childhood. Jordan is gay and Owen is straight, and a jock to boot. But nothing is going to separate the two, they always have each other's back. My only complaint, I wanted more about Jordan's art work, most of the story was heavy into Owens wrestling. Still, it was a great read.

Review: I am just really enjoying this entire series. I love how the couples/menages get together kinda midway through the book and then they go through mating and having kids together. Gives them all such a sense of completeness. And more is revealed about this world in every story. Axel, Cyrano and Ben are so lovely together, and Scooch the tortoise is such a great side character.

A Mate for Lu

Review: This is Axel's brother Lu's story. It is so easy to get a hate on for Sam from the previous book when you think Lu has been left alone, but he comes through so sweetly!! And to find out about the power the omega polar bear shifters had may just rock that world. It feels like much bigger things could be happening. Still loving the series.

So I was totally lured into reading this by the gorgeous cover. Seriously, I love it. However, the story didn't deliver as much as I was hoping. While I quite enjoyed the setting of the inn and the night shifts were interesting, most of the story felt flat. There was a lot of telling instead of showing. Quite a lot of unnecessary drama happening just to be solved a few sentences or a few pages later without having any roots in the actual story. And then there was Hunter. His reactions to his stalker and explanations to why he acted the way he acted didn't hold up.
I'm usually not one to react to grammar and stuff like that but how hard is it to write come on instead of c'mon and putting you are at the right spot in a sentence?
I don't know if I'll read this author again, but the cover!!!

A Handkerchief for Kade
By: Amy Bellows
Pages: 324 Kindle ed
How qualifies: See 2 people on the cover
Finished: Nov 17
Rating: 4.5 stars
Review: Still adore this series. Love the penguins nesting!! Even though this was a Daddy/boy story (and they seem to be everywhere these days) I did not find that aspect overwhelming. Otis was big and sweet and Kade was an adorable fairy penguin. And the bigger story is carried on about shifters in general and how the groups repress marginalized shifters within their communities. Fighting for injustice along with romance -- Yay!!

Wow! That is good!
