Okay I thought I would read a few chapters then go to bed. But the trailer blew up. Then his aunt died of a heart attack or did she? I am hooked! Why did I do this to myself. I am putting the book down. I am at 50% and must sleep. 😭😭😭
I lied I am finishing it! I am so into this book 😭😭I got to the empty grave and was like no way!. Now I need some answers. Holy smokes I love this book. Two in a row. Gustaf I am out of my reading slump!!!
Gustaf I am done with them both and need to sleep. It is after four and I do not need a book hangover tomorrow. Goodnight all!
I started reading both books before going to sleep yesterday, because I wanted to see which one I was most drawn to. Turns out both of them so I'm having a hard time wanting to read both right this second x)
I slept four hours but am going to try to go back to sleep 😂😂Hope when you get done with work you get to wanting to read

Review:
First of all, don't mind the cover. It is looking more like something for a western romance than anything else and it doesn't have anything to do with the book. The audio cover however - gorgeous.
With that out of the way, I loved this book. It's exactly the kind of cozy mystery I'm always on the hunt for with likable characters (both main and secondary), an interesting mystery plot which isn't too easy too figure out but neither too hard, a gorgeous setting in a small town, some humor and a dash of romance. The romance part wasn't too big in this first book in the series, but the way the relationship between Jonathon and Mike progress and how easy and natural everything felt between them, it didn't matter. You could tell that these two are meant for each other.
I'm hoping the other two books in the series will fit in my reading schedule, sooner rather than later because I can't wait to go back to Merrychurch and Jonathon and Mike. What an amazing start to the series. K.C. Wells is quickly becoming a favorite of mine.

I read the second book in this series first for some reason and didn't enjoy it very much. Maybe I was in a bad mood because I really enjoyed this. I might have to get back and reread book two just to see what my fuzz was about.
It's very insta love. It's very cheesy and over the top but also very sweet. And sometimes just what you need.

Review: This one was alright. Sometimes it feels like the author spends a little too long setting up the next books and checking in with past books that it can kinda cloud the actual story and what is going on. This mystery was a little bizarre, the bad guy seemed a little too omniscient for my taste -- how was he able to get back to HQ and do all that damage so much faster than the rest of them? And how was the one MC so dead-set against guns, then so cavalier about killing someone with them? So, a few plot holes for my liking, and the romance was a little insta-love, but it's hard not to love seeing and catching up with all the men from previous books and it was lovely to see Jack get his HEA.
Phew! Got it done before bed time. Take it away Gustaf!!

I really did not remember this book at all. Bran was a boy that Adin has to rescue. I disliked the senseless bickering between the main characters. It almost took me out of the book but Bran bought me back in

Who in the flying freak is the traitor? I know either Kempthorne or Kage is. I mean it can't be our Dom? Right? I mean it stands to reason one of the two will be. I don't think it is Kempthorne our tortured yummiest man? Please no. I need him and Dom to end up together. I don't want the easy way out that it ends in mmm. This book was a holy smokes it is over already book. I was searching for more pages. I hated the author right at that moment. I need the other book of this trilogy like now. Oh crap did this book have me stressing to the very end! Now how am I going to stand the wait with that cliffhanger?

Review: another cliffhanger? Are these authors seriously trying to kill me here? I hate cliffhangers! Although we know Vic can't die, right? He is a reeper for death. So he should be okay? I loved this book. Finding out who the warlock is. How evil he is. He puts the regular evil to shame. I now have to wait for the next book and I just know it is going to be forever.
