Kim and Bryant concur with the medical examiner’s initial finding of suicide for Samantha Brown until they do the notification to her parents. Did you find their behavior unusual? If so, what did they do?

Lisa - (Aussie Girl) No, not really. They went through their "check list" as to procedure at the scene. And both Kim and Keats concurred. Only that this series is about murders was my radar tuned that there was probably more to the scene that meets the eye.

Sharon Kallenberger Marzola | 3501 comments On the initial notification of the suicide, the parents acted like grieving parents to me. They didn't set off any alarms. I did feel they wanted to say something about Samantha, but it felt like a denial of her committing suicide. It isn't until later, that I can see they were hiding something even at this point.

Robin (robinmy) | 2466 comments I agree. Nothing jumped out at me as being suspicious. I also thought the parents would claim that Samantha would never commit suicide.

I’m sorry. I meant the parents’ behavior.

I agree with Robin on this one.

Lauren (laurenjberman) | 1812 comments Yes, the parents were obviously grief stricken but that comment about their daughter leaving made me suspicious that there was something they were not telling Kim and Bryant.

I also thought they were too ready to accept that she killed herself.
