Planning to get some pages read when I get home as well.
You guys are doing great!

Looks like we're doing great!
I put a book on hold from the library that has animal prints on the cover - hard to find. But here it is - maybe your library has it too.

Well my read a thon got off to a rough start. I had a migraine on Sunday (hence why miles of pages missed a day), and then the last two days of work have been insanely busy. I managed to finish Flower Crowns and Fearsome Things, the new Amanda Lovelace collection that I had such high hopes for. Sadly, I really didn't like it. Tomorrow is Agatha Christie Day, so I'll probably reread one of hers next as a palette cleanser.
PS: on the cover of that book, there are roses on fire and I'm counting fire as a source of light

Oh I loved Ocean at the end of the Lane.

Like it's not typical leopard print but there is like a pattern and animals in the pattern.
What do you all think?????

You can ask Emily over on the readathon Faq's thread. I don't think it does unless they are counting "prints of animals" for animal prints.

I am also physically reading The Moonlit Mind. That is a good one for another black and white cover. I think we need two of those right now.

I also loved Ocean at the End of the Lane. It was the first Neil Gaiman book I read and still one of my favorites.

I'm working on Poemsia which can go to a book with a black and white cover. That'll slay another wraith. :)

Will start James Herriot's Cat Stories for a book "with animal print" on the cover.

Finished off A Murder Is Announced. Not sure what I'll pick up next, but there's a library book sale tomorrow so I'll probably come home with a bunch of options.

It also has a light source on the cover.

I just started How to Twist a Dragon's Tale that could fit for the book with a mythological creature. It's very short and won't take me long.

I am within 100 pages of finishing Djinn Patrol on the Purple Line and a djinn is mythological creature. So far we haven't seen a djinn in the book, but there have been many, many references to the possibility that a djinn is responsible for the disappearance of children, so I am comfortable saying the djinn has a real presence in this book.

I also just finished History Matters 2: More Stories from Saskatchewan and I used it for the black and white cover.

I've finished How to Twist a Dragon's Tale and put it in a book with a mythological creature. It fits a few other prompts as well, so I could move it if you have nowhere else to put your book.

I can probably finish We Are the Ants for that or if not it can count as a book with a green cover. It's actually a pretty good young adult book so far. I like the character in it.

I can move How to Twist a Dragon's Tale to a short book, less than 250 pages - to move us closer to another wraith and you can take the mythological spot. Let me know.
