Add ing a middle initial

We can add a middle initial if you like, with or without you adding it on future book covers. But yes, having covers with different versions of your name can confuse things, potentially.
However, if you have a unique middle name/initial (we already have a Patrick J. Doyle and a Patrick N. Doyle), it would also help keep your books straight from the other Patrick Doyles.

It's one of the various options. Some authors prefer to make the change on future covers also; some never do.

I got that. I am fluent in typo.

I've got three books up on KDP all under my plain old name, Patrick Doyle. But there are a lot of Patrick Doyles and a search comes up wih all of them.
What happens if I add my middle initial to all my listings and book covers? Will that simplify my publishing future or just muddle it up with multiple author names and multiple editions of the same books?
Thanks in advance for any clarification.
