Hi there, I've been applying for librarian here but with many attempts to pass the quiz, I never get any email or verification. Any help?

No sorry we can't help.

If the system lets you apply again, your application has been unsuccessful. If you can't then your application is still under consideration.

The only assumption that I have ever made is that it is a good idea to mention any languages that you read & write & how fluent you are.

I applied to be a librarian several months ago. I passed the test and submitted my application, but the page *still* just says "Application Submitted." Is there a backup in reviewing these applications? Three months seems extreme. Does anyone know how long a wait is typical?

GR Librarians are volunteers and have no say in when new librarians are approved or the approval process. Only staff know what happens behind the scenes.

Hello, Kelly, just to let you know that I am in the same situation.

I applied 2 months ago, passed the test with 100% and still waiting. At least it's good to see that I am not the only one in this situation. Apparently, they add new librarians only when needed, so I guess we will receive the email sooner or later.

Same here, I passed my test in September and now it's almost December and my application has not been approved yet...

@Kelly, @Ana has your application been approved since September?

I hadn't checked in a while, but apparently my application was rejected. The page now says "retake quiz" instead of "application submitted." So I guess it's good that something changed? Not sure when it happened. Ana, I hope you had better results than me!

I hadn't checked in a while as well and I have just tried. For me the page is still saying "application submitted", apparently no changes.
I passed the test in July and I haven't had any news since then. At the beginning I was checking almost every day, but honestly now I don't do it anymore. If some day there are good news in my inbox, I'd be really happy, but for the moment I prefer to stop checking as it was driving me anxious.
@Kelly, @Barnabas, I hope that you are lucky and become librarians soon! :-)

If someone has questions about why an application was denied, they would need to contact Support.
