Does anyone know/think why this book is called wonder.

I think it may be because it is about wonder and how even if you have a face like august you can still have a wonderful life

I'm gonna ignore the conversations above my comment and answer the question. It's called Wonder because when August and his family was at the school presentation thingy, and he was awarded all this stuff, his mother looked at him and said, "You really are a wonder August". So it means that he's a wonder as in something wonderful
