Pet finds a way to drag Detective Tuatu through Between to escape the BehindKind creatures that are after them, and he finally has no choice but to believe in all the supernatural creatures and the world of Hobart Between, especially as he realizes that his upper management in the police force are either supernaturals themselves or under their control. But Pet, Zero and JinYeong have a new problem - Athelas the fae is missing and they can't find him either in this world, Between or Behind.

I like how these books are short and fast-paced, almost like a television series. I think it would actually make a good one, if done well. Pet is also developing some new abilities which are not explained yet, but slowly being revealed as the series progresses. It has been quite entertaining so far and I am eager to continue it.
