Hello! The school year has begun again... My sisters and I moved back into town so we're near our college. My brother is in another city, starting his first year of University. Life is cray but good.

Hey everyone, I have a friend from Canada (Her name is Thea) who's really into wiccan practices and wiccan praying. I'm testifying to her about Jesus. I know that wicca is very new age and very occult, I'm going to continue to be the true light to her like Jesus would. What do you have to say regarding this matter?
Oh that's a deep one.. Well to pray for her is the best thing you can do. There's a verse in the Word that talks about "praying that the eyes of their understanding be enlightened". 21st century terms, pray that God becomes so real to her that everything else is proved false. If she's open to talking about why she's so into it, that's a good place to start too. Try to figure out why she's so interested. Was it a friend, a guy, sheer curiosity? I think when it comes to helping people who are involved in witchcraft, it's important that they know that you as a believer. Aren't judging them, but coming from a place of love & concern as a friend. Hopefully that will help ya some! ;)

Sadly I didn't get the job that I was interviewing for. But I did get another temporarily job as a live-in nanny. It's kind of like having my own baby since I have to take care of a 6 week old at night and help the mom during the day. Feeding ever 3-4 hours now, haha.

Me too! Is it just me, or does it just seem like it was January? Whats everyone's favorite Holiday food or tradition?

My family doesn't really have any big traditions for thanksgiving, we just get together eat the regular thanksgiving food. But something that I'm looking forward to this year is hosting two international friends for dinner. Some of the students near us don't have anywhere to go on Thanksgiving, so my bible study leader tries to pair them up with a family for the holiday. This year, we have an Indian teacher and a Ukrainian student joining us.

I only saw a small portion of Thailand, but it is beautiful. The trees and foliage are amazing. The people, while more formal than the Lao people, are very friendly. It is truly the land of smiles. :)

Well, this was my first trip out of the country so just Thailand, Laos, and Turkey. I may go to Honduras next spring. :)

Yes I have I've been to Texas, New York, Pennsylvania, Mexico, California, Florida, Nevada, British Columbia (I'd love to go back there because I was just a baby when I went at the time) and Oregon.

Hey, off topic from traveling now, but can any of you recommend any funny female comedians who don't make sexual jokes or swear? I really want to laugh but I don't want to hear anything raunchy just to hear a good joke. Female comedians from the present or from the past is fine with me. And pg-13 rated can be fine too, just not R rated.
Well.. I know a few male comedians if you're interested. But Victoria Jackson has had some pretty funny stuff & I think she's a Christian... If I'm remembering correctly. Oh Chonda Peirce & Anita Renfroe are great too. I've actually been to one of Anita Renfroes shows!
