Does anyone know the title of a book that takes place in Manhattan where a man must move his car every morning to a new parking spot. It is a long process so he sits in the car and does the NYT crossword puzzle. Eventually the car becomes his office and it is where his friends go to talk with him. Very funny book.

first time using goodreads-where is header? Published about 10 years ago, story includes a scene where he waits on line to buy lox and catches up with friends. It doesn't seem like much from the description but the author absolutely nails real life in the city.
