It can be part of more than one series. Just let us know when you release it as a new series and we will make it show first.
Fading Light isn't a part of the Darkest Depths series anymore. I would like to list that Fading Light is book 1 of Chaos Awoken, but with it attached to the other series page, editing the book details doesn't work. On the edit page under title it says Fading Light (Darkest Depths, # 3.5) and that's what I would like to change. Can a book be removed from a series page? Sorry for the long reply and thank you.
How can it not be part of the series now when it was before with the same content? Goodreads defines series as books connected by the sharing world or overlapping characters.

But it's listed as a non-primary book for Darkest Depths.
The book is no longer part of the series because it starts a new arc in the story and I wanted it to be a separate series. I'm the author of the book. The series Darkest Depths resolved with its last full book. Fading Light was a side story, but now it's the first of a new series. Having it listed on both series could be confusing.
Setting the new one as the primary series that shows up is the best way to avoid confusion (in my opinion), which is what has been done here. I think readers will be fine and can see it starts a new story for the characters. Lots of books are part of multiple series and this is appropriate for this case.
Could someone please remove the book Fading Light by Meg Hendry from the series Darkest Depths? The book is now book 1 of its own series (Chaos Awoken), but isn't ready yet for its own series page. Thank You.
