So not only is a sequel being worked on by the original developers but THIS AUGUST, we have a Chloe centric prequel, released in 3 episodic format with an additional Max centric bonus chapter released afterwards. The prequel episodes are being developed by another team but playable footage so far signals a faithful tone and quality to the now (IMHO) legendary series.

BUT ....big BUT....there is no time travel in the prequel episodes :( However, the sequel may well do, fingers crossed.

In the meantime, I am still replaying the original series, this time on my PS4 and loving it all over again, on episode 4 (out of five episodes now).

Due to the current releases of prequels, dlcs and sequels, Life is Strange season 1 is on sale for the price of a cappuccino on Steam. I can't link to it because most of you are in US and other countries. Just go on to your own local Steam. I'm sure it will show up on home page being a high profile sale item.

Won many awards because its one the greatest narrative games ever. And of course imo, greatest time travel game ever....heck even one of the best narratives in any medium...in my insignificant humble opinion of course!

I think you mean Episode 1 was free as it is indeed free on all platforms at all times. But the whole season 1-5 gets a promotional sale 2 to 3 times a year and then returns to its RRP (about $15?). for the rest of the time.

Have you played it, like to hear your thoughts on it, good or bad :)
