Not allowed to add books description?

Hi,

I'm the author of the upcoming book 6 Times We Almost Kissed (+ 1 Time We Did). When the book was announced and a GR page was made for it, I added the current official description of the book (the pitch) and found it was removed and a comment was left saying I shouldn't re-add it because GoodReads doesn't have the rights to display the content.

But I'm the creator and writer of the content and the book and I gave permission by uploading it? It's the current official description of the book and I would like it on the book's page. Is there a way to give the site permission if that's what they need?
