Dan | 256 comments Is there a werewolf story or book that is in some way related to this group that you'd like to buddy read? If you're interested in reading a specific book, outside of the group reads, then here's the place to post and find a buddy! Simply add your buddy request to this topic.

Friendly tip: Many books, especially newer ones, are sold as eBooks through Amazon and other services. Before committing to a read, group or buddy, I go to Amazon now and read the 'see inside' portion of the book in question. If by the end of that I am not hooked, or the story has some things that are unappealing to me, I simply leave it alone. That way, I'm not stuck paying for it, reading it, and giving it a less than positive (meaning 1- or 2-star) review. (I'll give a negative review if I buy a read, and then read it and don't like it, because I'm always honest when rating or reviewing a work. But I don't enjoy having to do that and don't seek out those opportunities.)

Once two more members commit to the buddy read (minimum of three total) I'll assume all three of you want to read the book immediately (unless you state as you're agreeing that you want to begin at a later date). I will then set up the discussion topic space for you and place the buddy read book on the schedule for later the same, or the following, month.

See the other post at the top of this folder for the schedule for your read and the link to its discussion.

Dan | 256 comments I propose a buddy read: Mooned by Norm Cowie. From what I read in the "see inside" section, this story has been mislabeled as humor. It's a rip roaring good werewolf story, based on what I read, even if the protagonist is a family pet. Seriously! If two more members say they will read it (by posting that statement to this topic) and are willing to commit to doing so, this short 99-cent book becomes a buddy read and gets placed on our schedule with its own topic.
