My granma is looking for a book and she asked me to search it on the internet for her: she probably read it in the 90's early 2000s, and she remembers that it took place in a fishing town in New England. The particular thing she remembers was that the love story was parallel to the story of a pack (or school) of orcas and their leader, who was old and needed the other orcas to help her.
