Helene (helene_dunbar) | 22 comments My book, What Remains, pubs on May 8th. My publisher just changed my cover. I seem to have been able to add that, but now there are three editions up and I can't figure out how to delete/combine. Can someone please help?

Monique (kadiya) | 1097 comments Helene,

A few questions. First, have any editions including ARCs, gone out with the original cover? Second, is it currently only being released as a paperback or will it be released digitally as well? Is the same cover being used for all editions - both physical and digital?

Thanks!

message 3: by Helene (new)

Helene (helene_dunbar) | 22 comments Monique -
Yes, ARCs had the old cover.
It is currently only paperback, my publisher then releases digitally right after the pub date.
The same cover will be used for both physical and digital.

Monique (kadiya) | 1097 comments Sorry, just to double check. The cover with the couple on it is the old cover and the one with the heart is the new cover?

message 5: by Helene (new)

Helene (helene_dunbar) | 22 comments Yes, the heart is the new cover.

Monique (kadiya) | 1097 comments OK - after some re-configuring, I've got it straight. One of the 3 editions will disappear soon as it was a duplicate. The ARC edition and the "published" edition with the new cover are set. The ISBN has been added to the published edition and notes have been added to the ARC and published editions so that people can find them easily.

Monique (kadiya) | 1097 comments Oops! I forgot to add one thing. You can set the default edition (the one that shows up in search) by following the steps in the link below:

Helene (helene_dunbar) | 22 comments Thanks, but where did all the "to be reads" go????

message 9: by Nan (new)

Nan (xxmzsmilesxx) | 1167 comments Are you talking about the people that put your books as tbr? They are still there but merged into the other editions of your book.

message 10: by Monique (new)

Monique (kadiya) | 1097 comments I see 11 pages of people who have shelved the book, Helene.

message 11: by Helene (new)

Helene (helene_dunbar) | 22 comments Thanks for doing all of this Monique. When I look at the book, it's only showing FIVE TBRs. Is there no way of merging the ARC and the published version?

message 12: by Monique (new)

Monique (kadiya) | 1097 comments Helene,

They are combined. I see 5 reviews of ARCs. I see 14 ratings. At the bottom of the book page, underneath the reviews, I see photos/names of people who have shelved the book like this:

https://www.goodreads.com/photo/user/...

It's possible, I suppose, that there may be some cacheing issue on the author dashboard, if that is what you are looking at.

message 13: by Helene (new)

Helene (helene_dunbar) | 22 comments Bizarre. Yes. The author dashboard apparently shows TBR for each edition and doesn't combine them. Puzzling...

Jennifer Bohnhoff | 13 comments I have a book on my site that's listed twice. Could a librarian be so kind as to delete the second copy of the Adventure Collection from Jennifer Bohnhoff's page?

message 15: by Renske (new)

Renske | 12350 comments 14 Is your book only published as Kindle edition or also as other ebook?
