message 51: by Susan (new)

Susan I started with Neverwhere when it first came out. Loved it. So totally different from anything at that time that I was aware of. Then I read his Sandman series. Then I read Good Omens. Loved it. And also introduced me to Terry Pratchett who was the best. Then Stardust. So good--I even enjoyed the movie. I tried Annansi Boys. Did not care for it. Have since read- Coraline and Odd and the Frost Giants and some others. I have American Gods on my shelf waiting.
Terry Pratchett- start at the first disc world and work you way through. There is no one who can play with words like him. All wonderful. Such great characters-- and of course, a window to our present lives.
