I always read when I was younger but I kinda stopped for a few years. I started reading again a few months ago.

I didn't read much as a child. Though I always wanted to be the person to read a lot I never actually picked up a book haha. Then I was scrolling through TikTok a couple of years ago and saw a TikTok about books. I had one of the books that were shown in the video (Shadow and Bone :) ) but hadn't read it yet, so I decided to try. Couldn't stop after that hahah

I used to read a lot of books when I was younger, mostly little books that had a lot of pictures, but I also loved all of the "Ever After High" books by Shannon Hale! Then, one day, for some reason I just stopped reading. About six months ago, I was very bored and isolated with covid so I kind of just strolled through my bookshelf that has a lot of middle grade books but still some(by 'some I mean one or two) YA-ish ones (like One Of Us Is Lying) and I began to read that. I then felt like I was learning/living a new experience when I read a book, and while I'm on BookTok, I still haven't read pretty much any of the books on there (other than 'We Were Liars' and 'One Of Us Is Lying'), and my CR is "The Darkest Minds" by Alexandra Bracken. So I've still been working on transitioning to more BookTok books and stuff, but that's kind of my book story :)

Ever since I can remember. As soon as I could read I was. My mom and us kids would have quiet reading time at night.

I have been reading since I was younger but then I stopped I have gotten back into reading a few months ago. The book that got me out of the huge slump and that helped me was “A Good Girls Guide to Murder”. What made me start reading was just the thrill of reading and the way that you so fascinated with reading, it’s like being in your own fantasy so it’s always been a part of me.

I looooooved reading when I was in middle school, probably because my mom always took me to the library. But when I was 14 years old we moved and the library here sucks, so that's when I stopped reading. Fortunately a friend of mine lent me her copy of "the Perks of being a Wallflower" last summer, and that escalated really quick. I now have a full bookcase and my passion for reading is growing :)

heyy, i read a lot when i was younger, but in recent years (probably from 2020) it’s been tricky to manage w time and other commitments. this year i’m beginning to get into it again and i’m looking forward to reading the ones on my tbr :)

i loved to read when i was younger, and as i grew up i had less and less time and effort to read, but if i could read a bit i would. It wasn’t until covid started that i really got back into it (since i had a lot more time to read lol) !!

i loved to read when i was younger, i would always have a book reserved at the library, unfortunately, as i got older and my life became busier i kind of stopped reading but, when quarantine started i had a bunch of time to spare, so i restarted my reading journey

![Pari [semi-hiatus] (pari890) | 22 comments](https://images.gr-assets.com/users/1660640505p1/140494539.jpg) I read the entire princess diaries series when I was 12 in 5 days just to finish it really and bc I loved the movies. And then last year in May I found booktok telling me to read cruel prince and I have been addicted to making my heart hurt by reading great books ever since.

I've been reading since I can remember learning how. I started seriously reading around 2008 when I got into Twilight lol, but that's when I started writing down every book I finished and still use the same notebook to track my reading today!
Started when I was 8-9 years old, mostly short books for school competitions. Stopped being consistent during university years, but I started setting monthly/yearly goals a few months ago.

I’ve always loved reading but I only read like two books every two months. Since quarantine I’ve been reading weekly.

my dad and I always read books before bed every night and that really got me to love reading. and as I've grown up, I've developed a SERIOUS love of literature. and I owe a lot of that love to my English teachers who have helped me develop that
