for us literary types, and probably a lot of others (like as a teaching aid), would it be to have a setup for plays that was like karaoke?

A machine that would feed the dialogue like karaoke feeds lyrics, provide some appropriate sound effects and even music at the right points, even a few essential stage directions.

Helluva lot better than cringing while people yargle Air Supply and cracture Journey songs.

I'd rather die than listen to an endless streaming of Air Supply and Journey

Kallie | 268 comments Air Supply seems an appropriately vacuous name. And I was embarrassed when Journey sprayed that saccharine pop about San Francisco. I wonder if that attracted, or could have been an indicator of, all the corporate shite that's since colonized my used-to-be-a-favorite city?

Because it used to be funky and enchanting and therein lay its charm. Now it is merely beautiful.

E.D. Lynnellen (EDLynnellen) | 118 comments I contemplated forming a band that covered advertising jingles in Japanese called "REOtotojourneywagon"..., but I don't know Japanese.

I always thought SF was better when people left their organs there, and used their heads as gardens. Go 'Niners!!! :}
