So the main thing for me from this part is that the home town of Addie is close to Le Mans and that’s hilarious to me cause I’ll be living in Le Mans next year so like, what a coincidence. I enjoyed finding that

oh my god, this book is so surprisingly good, i feel like i could keep reading forever. my first thought was: is this based on that movie with blake lively? because her name was also adeline and she was immortal too, right? yeah i feel like i might be missing a piece here. and oh my god, isabel!! you'll be living in france? how nice! also, i loved estele. is this the last time we're seeing her?

Chapter 1 - impressions so far

I know it's just one chapter in, but it doesn't feel slow right off the bat which is something I was afraid of so that's good. So far I don't care much about Addie or Toby (especially not him). I hope whoever it is that remembers her name is cooler than Toby.

Okay done with chapter 10. I was gonna post that I spoke too soon and that I don't like the flashback chapters, but they got better.

Does she ever get with the darkness tho? Remains to be seen.

But really tho, V has a super easy writing style and I'm reading way faster than expected (seems to be the popular opinion)

Also i'm kind of excited to see if Toby's gonna come back or was just the opening act and we'll get to know the darkness (and obvs fall for him bc DUH)
