Hey y’all I’m Kelsey I’m new to this whole reading community thing. I’m trying to make friends somehow. I’m from NC 💕📚
Hi… I don’t really know where to post this so I’ll put it here..I’m looking for people to participate in a huge book exchange. You can be anywhere in the world. All you have to do is buy your favorite book (just one) and send it to a stranger (I'll send their details in a private message). You’ll receive lots of books back to you, to enjoy and keep. They'll be favorite books from strangers around the world.
An easy option is to order your book off of Amazon and have it sent directly to your person if you’d like. Happy Reading!

It was so good! I totally recommend giving it a try
Im currently reading The Hawthorne Legacy the second book in the Inheritance Game Series by Jennifer Lynn Barnes
I can't read new books rn since I only allow myself to reread books during exams/when my exams are going to start, so I'm currently rereading Ruthless Knight by Ashley Jade, All The Lies by Rina Kent & A Gorgeous Villain by Saffron A Kent.
exams in a week :( so im finishing up 'one of us is lying' and then waiting until exams are over to start a new book. any recs?
i just finished november 9 and am sick of colleen hoover meni’m either gonna read shatter me or re-read acomaf next
I am currently reading A Court of Mist and Fury, Me and Earl and the Dying Girl, Dreamfall, The Midnight Library, and A Study in Charlotte.
I always read multiple books at once since I'm a mood reader and always need to have something different but I'm currently focusing on The Upside of Falling, Good Girl Complex, and Idol.
I’m currently reading “Someday, Maybe” by Onyi Nwabinelli, it’s actually for the book club I am in, and it is good but it is very heavy. It’s about a woman reeling and grieving after her husband’s suicide, with support from her large Nigerian family. I am not in a good place mental health wise right now, so although it is well written and I really like it, I’ve cried almost every time I have picked it up and am getting through it slowly. I live with chronic illness, chronic pain, severe depression and other mental health issues (which are speared by being alone all day every day) and I have had two back surgeries, soon to be a third (I used to be a Registered Nurse, a back injury took me out and now I am nothing but a spoonie, and I guess a wife and daughter and aunt). I do recommend this book, but with a high trigger warning. My pleasure books are usually thrillers, so I am also reading Her Pretty Face by Robyn Harding, as well as The Therapist by B.A. Paris. Sorry this was long, thanks to anyone who read this!
A friend told me to read more than one book at a time so I started trying that out and I am reading In Like Flynn, just finished If Cats Disappeared from the World and have misplaced a very big book by Jane Austin.

Well, I googled for it and so I am one too but didn't know it until now:What is a “spoonie”?
Back pain.
Fibromyalgia.
Lupus.
Migraines.
Rheumatoid arthritis.

I'm a spoonie. It's basically anyone with a chronic illness. We're called spoonies because of spoon theory. Basically every task in life requires a certain amount of spoons. Because of our health issues, it can take us more spoons (energy) to complete each task. We get exhausted quicker than normal people because we have to use more spoons for each task than a healthy person would have to use
I'm currently reading the Final Gambit. I just started reading it yesterday. It's already really good, though. The Inheritance Games is such a a good series.
