Sorry for taking so long to finish making my lists but I unfortunately had some work stuff come up unexpectedly. So the book I would prefer to read this week has the main word and the bonus. It also has the following:
Everything from People except teacher/professor
For Places: Country (England), City (London), Building, House, School
For Things: Book, coat, candle, box, umbrella, bottle, lamp, glasses
Sorry, I had an exam this morning and I am just getting back. People: I have everything except neighbor.
Places: I don't have country, street, planet.
THings: I don't have jacket/coat, candle, bottle, lamp,
Okay, so some we have lots of choices and others we don't so let me know for multiple chocies how you want to go and hopefully I didn't mess this up. In people: We have in common and can claim are: Mother, Father, Sister, Brother, Friend, Child, Wife.
In Place: We have in common and can claim are: City, Home/house, school
In Things - We have in common and can claim are: Box
Let me know if I have made a mistake.
I'm good with school, box and child as well.
Week 1 ~ Blue & Flame
by Lisa Kleypas2/14/15-4♥
Child~she might have been a child...(p. 161)
School~rare holidays from school...(p. 1)
Box~towering stack of boxes...(p. 49)
Blue & Flame~was rippling with blue flame...(p. 356)
This was simply delightful. Lisa Kleypas managed to write an absorbing story concerning the pending dissolution of the peerage and the dawning of the Industrial Age. This is the first book in the series concerning "the wallflowers" - Annabelle's girlfriends who are also looking to snag husbands. I am waiting anxiously to see how their husband-hunting endeavors turn out!
Week 1: Blue

Rating: 4 Stars
Review:
This was actually a reread for me; it was the book that first introduced me to Courtney Milan books (and I can also thank listopia and weird search strings for finding it the first place) so I expect I have an extra fondness for it for that reason alone. That said I honestly think it would be my favourite of her books regardless simply as she avoids so many regency era book cliches; normally when reviewing a regency era book I have on comment on how generic it is so it was wonderful not to have to. I really liked the characters and found the plot absorbing. The only potential negative thing I have to say about this book is that there were a few turn of phrases that seemed too modern for this era (I noticed that in a few of her books actually) but I am no expert on the era so it is entirely possible those were said back then too.
Words:
Blue- "They were everywhere on the streets these days, with their blue cockades and their supposedly secret hand signals." Location 6092
Flame- "If he insisted on throwing himself, mothlike, into her flame, who was she to tell him no? Location 8326
Child- "They wouldn't want the town's golden child tainted, after all." Location 6399
School- "His eyes met hers, and she suddenly was struck by the realization that while she knew his tailor and his record in school, she knew very little about him." Location 7688
Box- "It was almost an hour later- after the dog had been taken outside twice, and then fed remnants of chicken, had a ball of rags constructed and rolled on the floor, and a box found for it and lined with blankets- before Smite looked over at Mark." Location 8730
Note: While I have listed
I read it from
so the location numbers refer to the Boxset not individual edition.
WoW! you guys are fast I have barely even started my book but I plan to settle down soon and do some reading :)

Review:
This is the third book and Rachel has outsmarted Al from a deal made in previous book and in doing so has managed to keep her soul. However Al is not giving up and is determined to drag Rachel to the Ever After. I have read this series before and with the last book coming out last year. I thought it be fun to reread the series as it's been 4 years since I read the beginning books. I'd forgotten how much I hated Nick, so glad in this one that he's moving further out of Rachel's life. This book also shows Trent in a different light and gives more history on him. Then there is Kisten, I really loved him from this book on. It's kind of interesting seeing now the different relationships started and knowing where they end up.
I'm on a team with a bunch of speed readers...lol :)
Great reviews everyone!

TSH R:9-Mean Green Reading Machine Week 1
Book: The Billionaire Falls by Melody Anne.
Date Read: 2/14/15
Rating: 3 Stars
Review:
The third book in the series of the last brother, Mark. It didn't have alot of angst between the hero and heroine compared to the last book. There is a more of a mystery which makes it different from earlier books, but it was kind of boring in most places since there was not much conflict. The series continues with the Anderson's cousins which I am interesting to read.
Items Claimed:
Blue - "A very tall older man with twinkling blue eyes and what seemed like a permanent smile on his face walked through the door." - Location 206.
Flame - "Jennifer felt her face flame with embarrassment." -Location 3619.
Child - “We didn’t know we were going to have a child here,..." - Location 344.
School - “Mark, I simply can’t afford to place Trevor in a private school.” - Location 1219.
Box - "The next day though, when Emily went to check the mail and found an envelope in the box addressed to her,.." - Location 1637.
Goodness you guys are putting me to shame with your speedyness ...lol
My book has been a little slow to start 10 chapters in and not much going on but things are starting to pick which for me means faster reading.

Don't worry about it. The book I was starting just happen to work for it the items or else I am probably going to be the last one posting.
I'm at the halfway point in my book. I'm off work tomorrow and Thursday so I'll either be done tomorrow sometime or Thursday afternoon at the latest :)
Thanks Jennifer :) I'm not usually a slow reader but this book has been sort of a roller coaster it has some really high moments and then it seems to drag
Scavenger Hunt R9 ~ Week 1 ~ Blue & Flame
by Scott Speer
Finished: 18/02/15
Rating:4♥
Review:Since this is my first book by Scott Speer I have to be fair and say that I don't read to many books written by Male Authors. I sometimes find they have trouble with the emotional side of characters which leaves me feelings unattached to the characters and the book.
Now that being said Mr. Speer has done a fantastic job with this first book in the Immortal City Trilogy, he had me go through a wide range of emotions from anger, laughter and shock to outright crying and that for me is the true testament of a really good book.
I'm not going to go into a big speel about what happened in the book I prefer to let others read books and form their own opinions but I do have to say that if you haven't read Immortal City make some time cause it's definitely worth it.
Items Claimed:
WOW: Blue ~ Sony Loc. pg 292 ~ Their beautiful blue luminescence had almost totally faded
Bonus: Flame ~ Sony Loc. pg 210 ~ he sat looking at the flame
School: ~ Sony Loc. pg 13 ~ ...until she had to leave for school
Child: ~ Sony Loc. pg 30 ~ The full-blooded child of Mark and Kris
Box: ~ Sony Loc. pg 127 ~ then put her mother's things back in their box

I am still looking for a new book choice, as my first choice did not have the bonus word, but will post it as soon as I have found one.
Okay so I found a new choice (part of what took me so long was that I searched on Amazon through the book I thought I had for all the words before realising I was searching a different book in the series so had to restart). This one has the main word and bonus word as well as all people and colours. It also has planet (I expect it has others in locations but I didn't check since that one was already decided)
Sorry its taking me so long but I keep finding 2 out of 3 in my books. I have a class so I will look for it in the evening.
