Please adjust book placement in series

Hi.
I tried to create a new book to add to the Mystic's End series (because it was missing from Goodreads completely). I created it but it has ended up as an alternate version of Book 1 instead of showing separately as the Prequel that it is.
Are you able to fix, please?

Most likely you clicked Add a New Edition. The easiest way to add new books is to search for them and if you don't find them, use Manually add a book button on the left sidebar.

It appears that this short is only available to people who sign up for the author's mailing list. Is that correct?

So, I’m a little confused about what is going on. Are you saying that books can’t be listed on Goodreads unless they can be physically purchased somewhere? Or is there another reason the book doesn’t qualify as a book? Just trying to understand the rules so I don’t make the same mistake again. Thanks.

In this particular case "Stories only available via subscription to a newsletter, or via a website that requires registration" is the reason.
