Max set up Caitlin to be arrested by Nick. However, her grandmother and Will were not pleased that she did so. What did you make of her grandmother’s point of view? Is Max forever the persona non grata from hereon?

It's ridiculous that they would want Max to look the other way because it was a member of the family. I don't get these rich families who don't want anyone to learn about the scandals. They try to cover everything up, even if someone else takes the fall for it.

Max will never fit in because she believes in justice. Her family believe in saving face and covering up what isn't pleasant.

I’m with both of you. This notion that avoiding scandal is paramount to everything makes no sense to me. Does having wealth mean its preservation supersedes right or wrong? William's reaction didn’t surprise me but Eleanor’s did. Her statement that she wouldn’t have her nephews without Caitlin running around free stunned me. Two other people lost their lives because that woman roamed free.

The trouble is Eleanor has some very important people in her pocket. She is powerful and can pay off or give favors so things go her way. Scary!

I’m just struggling with the idea that she’d kill her own child.

I agree that Caitlin needs psychiatric care, but it shouldn't be done just because Max's grandmother paid someone to keep her out of jail. I agree with Robin. People with money think they can get away with anything. I also agree with Sharon. Max will never fit in with that family.

I know Eleanor loves Max, at least as much as this woman can love a person. But, Max is never going to fit in this family. Her mother never fit. Max is a person that his family just doesn't know what to do with.
