Lindy was really screwed up. The only person who was important to her was herself. She didn't care who she kicked to the curb on her way out of town to go to college. These people were all in her past.
I'm with you Robin. Max was her friend, but they weren't the same friends as when they were kids. Lindy liked being wild and taking risks that hurt people. She wanted to use everyone up then start fresh when she was in college. I don't know if she would change when she left town, but this group brought out the worst in each other.
I agree with both of you. And, boy was this group a toxic brew for each other.
I saw nothing that led me to believe that Lindy would have matured into a better adult. She would have just gotten meaner.

Lindy was extremely selfish, but also lonely. That's why she kept track of everyone else. She stayed with Kevin while sleeping with William to keep up appearances. William wanted to keep the relationship quiet because of Caitlin and Carrie.I agree. Lindy would have kept doing what she was doing even in college.
