FA 21 How to Play Counting on Authors

Read 10 books by 10 different authors* where the letters (no spaces or punctuation counted) in the entire published name are:

15.1 9 or fewer letters
15.2 10 letters
15.3 11 letters
15.4 12 letters
15.5 13 letters
15.6 14 letters
15.7 15 letters
15.8 16-17 letters
15.9 18-19 letters
15.10 20 or more letters

*for the purpose of RwS, the first named author on a GR listing will be used in establishing the author's name.

Books may be read in any order, but please use the corresponding task number for each claim.

Scoring:
15.1-15.10 15 Points
Over 500 pages: 5 points
Not-a-Novel: 5 points

100 point for finishing all 10
+50 All Female Authors
+50 All Books published before 1996

Counting on Authors may be completed three times during the Fall season.

A few reminders:

I. You cannot claim regular style points for any book you read for Counting on Authors (nor do the Counting on Authors tasks count as Combo style points for regular Reading with Style tasks).

II. All books read for this sub-challenge must be at least 100 pages, based on the most popular English-language print edition (MPE).

III. Please be aware that cookbooks, illustrated guides, and graphic novels are not allowed for the sub-challenge. Also, books designated as "YA", "Assignment", or "Juv" by the Brooklyn Public Library with a Lexile score less than 800.
