Max goes to see Olivia Langstrom, one of the friends in her group from high school. Olivia admits that Kevin was with her the night Lindy was murdered. Your thoughts about her decision to let everyone believe he was guilty?

Robin (robinmy) | 2450 comments Olivia said she didn't come forward because her father was abusive toward her. She was a week away from graduation and could have easily stopped the prosecution against Kevin. She should have came forward. I'm sure she could have got some kind of protection from her father. Of course, it sound like Kevin never asked her to help him.

Sharon Kallenberger Marzola | 3474 comments To me Olivia is another "poor little rich kid." She didn't have a problem letting a friend pay for a crime that she knew he didn't commit. I understand the battered/abused syndrome, but really she let that whole thing go to far. I'm sure she could have found a therapist or some unbiased party to help her if she wanted to do right by Kevin. In the end, it was more important staying on her father's good side.

Robin (robinmy) | 2450 comments "Poor little rich kid" is right. She stayed on her father's good side...then married a replica of him.

I had little sympathy for Olivia. Maybe, just maybe I could see her struggling with the decision to clear Kevin’s name at the time of the trial. But she had years to clear this up and turned her back on Kevin who didn’t do the same thing to her.

I put her in the same category as Caitlin.

Melissa (melissasd) | 676 comments I think it was a decision made by her and Kevin. She was afraid of her father and Kevin didn't want to get her in trouble with him. I agree with Robin, she was fixin' to graduate and probably get out from under her father's thumb anyway. There are always people willing to help. But, like Sharon said... "poor little rich kid".

Anita (anitanodiva) | 2953 comments I understand why Olivia felt she needed to keep her night with Kevin a secret, but he was indicted for murder. Nothing and I mean nothing excuses her silence when that happened. She is a vile, despicable excuse for a human being.

She selfishly let him suffer, took away the life he once knew. And, apparently, didn’t feel all that guilty about it.
