Max agrees to Jodi O’Neal’s request to investigate Kevin’s suicide. When, if ever, did you decide he did indeed take his own life?

Robin (robinmy) | 2485 comments I thought Max was wrong and she would eventually conclude that he was murdered. I think I actually believed it when she found the letter at the storage shed and he more or less said he was dying. I figured he decided to end it early.

Sharon Kallenberger Marzola | 3534 comments I didn't believe he killed himself. It seemed to convenient until we found out Kevin was dying. It made sense that he helped fate along so Max would clear his name and find out the real murderer.

I also was suspicious right up until she found his letter.

Melissa (melissasd) | 676 comments I don't think I ever really doubted it with his history of depression, alcohol and drugs. Also, he told his sister to call Max right before he did it. He knew his death would bring her home.

Melissa, you were paying attention to what was there. I made stuff up😏

Sharon Kallenberger Marzola | 3534 comments WOW Melissa. That went right over my head.

Anita (anitanodiva) | 3009 comments I believed at first that he had been murdered. I was less sure when she found his letter in her book with the note and postscript. then, for sure when she found his letter in the storage unit. I was so sad that he thought that his death was the only way Max would come home and look deeper into Lindy's death.

Sharon Kallenberger Marzola | 3534 comments That made me sad too Anita. It made me a little angry with Max that she ignored his plea for help for so long. She jumps at the chance to help strangers, but an old friend she ignored.

Anita (anitanodiva) | 3009 comments Made me very angry too. It also diminished my opinion of Max. Like you said, she jumps to help strangers, but ignores a childhood friend. It just wasn't right.
