I read both my Ellery Adams books (Murder in the Locked Library and Murder in the Reading Room ) in quick succession last night! I have two more to complete the series so I think I will keep going so thank you again for the pick Jennifer!

That's disappointing. I find books written in the present tense so disconcerting I no longer try to struggle through them.

If you like knitting and crochet, you might like another series I found recently, set in New Zealand, and definitely written in the more usual past tense. The first one is

I finished my second book yesterday. I enjoyed spending time with the characters. Both the mysteries were challenging enough to make it interesting.
