I read this book around 2017- 2019 not sure exactly the year. Written in the 80s, romance, hero and heroine work at a radio station in Colorado, separation for about 3 to 5 years, heroine is younger than hero, early twenties heroine, hero in mid to late thirties, heroine a virgin, she has blonde hair. heroine worked with hero at a radio station, then they had a one night stand and soon after that she moves off to become big in the radio show world, then she comes back to work with him again at the radio station in Colorado.
That's pretty much all the info I can remember.

yes. she leaves him in Colorado for about 3-5 years, then she returns to Colorado

I don't remember if it was part of a series. it was print.
The hero is about maybe 12 to 15 years older than the heroine.
They were separated for about 3-5 years.
I believe the cover was updated sometime in the 2000s (though I believe the book was written in the 80s) I think it was maybe black and white or darker in coloring, I think it had a woman with blondish hair and a man leaning over her.
