Ginni | 1 comments Hello - I’m joining from the U.K. I’ve always been an enthusiast about wildlife and the natural environment. I read all types of books on these subjects, ranging from specific natural history titles - I’ve just read one about cuckoos - to more general topics - really enjoyed ‘Braiding Sweetgrass’, even though the ecology was alien to me as a citizen of Great Britain. I’ve missed my regular book club which stopped meeting due to the pandemic, and look forward to hearing reviews and suggestions from a world wide group with similar interests to my own.

Christy Knight (talkingflowers) | 1 comments Hi Ginni, at al,
Good to be with you here as I'm new as well. The cuckoos sound interesting! Birds are fascinating in their diversity.

I joined a new local (zoom) environmental book club through work during the pandemic and it has literally been a life saver. We have read Sweetgrass as well and The Overstory among others. I like what you said about connecting with a world wide group here as that is really cool, so that's what I'm looking forward to.

Christy
