We must not only obey when we agree with things. –13 Everyone must submit to governing authorities. For all authority comes from God, and those in positions of authority have been placed there by God. 2 So anyone who rebels against authority is rebelling against what God has instituted, and they will be punished. -Romans 13:1-2 3 Remind the believers to submit to the government and its officers. Damon Hunter Hello Diane,

Any attack on freedom is an attack on Lord God.

In the Book of Acts, Peter was ready to die rather than stop preaching and proclaiming the Word, (as commanded by the authorities) and was saved by God.

Historically, Romans 13 has be used by 'tyrants' to promote their causes (think Nazi' or South Africa as examples).

All this is usually 'justified' in the name of peace&safety by our authorities, who, in my own honest&humble opinion, are the ones responsible for 'whatever' perceived crisis around at that particular time.......then the authorities offer a 'solution', which always involves the masses losing their freedoms in some form. This plandemic is about 'control'.

Working people into a state of 'panic&fear' will generally make them believe&swallow almost anything (even professed Christians in the Faith).......the Lord Jesus warns us many times to not be deceived and to not be afraid. There are 365 verses in the Holy Bible stating "do not fear ie be afraid"

I personally have not even owned a face-mask let alone worn one, as i was 'obedient' and verified the Truth of the matter, thus avoiding being deceived.

1 Thessalonians 5:21.

"(Prove) test all things, holding fast to that which is good (Truth)"

I wish you blessings in Christ Jesus' mighty name and that you walk in His Spirit of Truth always.

David Knott | 55 comments Thanks Diane for posting this thought and Damon for your comments. I personally don't see these kinds of issues as black and white, there are tensions to be acknowledged. As Paul says, there are some "debatable matters". The most important principle I hope we will all acknowledge is love.

The way freedom and love interact is interesting. A key scripture on this to my mind is Galatians 5:13, "You, my brothers and sisters, were called to be free. But do not use your freedom to indulge the flesh; rather, serve one another humbly in love." (NIV)

Freedom is important, but it can also become an idol. In western secular culture, I would suggest that freedom is an idol. In this freedom, mask, etc. debate, I have not heard anyone ask the question, "What would a servant hearted person do in this situation?" My personal application from this scripture is that it is more pleasing to God for me to serve others through what I do than protect my personal freedom. For me the challenge is to work out what that means in any specific situation.

Of course it is important to preach the gospel, and some are called to go against authorities, and lose their freedom, for doing just that. Such sacrificial love that puts preaching the gospel above concern for personal freedom is an example to us all. May God grant them boldness and grace. But our actions matter too. As someone once said, "Preach the gospel on all occasions, and if necessary use words." Service filled with love is one of the best ways of letting "your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven." (Matthew 5:16 NIV)

Damon Hunter Hello David and thanks for your informed response brother.

Could i ask you if you, yourself, believe that the official narrative regarding the shinnanigans over the last 18 months or so are Truthful, or not ie a deception?

What do you think the Lord Jesus would do if He were here today to lead by example, would He be wearing a face-mask, obseving the distancing measures put in place to 'protect us' along with taking vaccines that are not proven to have any benefit (as yet) and not going to church ie fellowship and to worship the Lord God etc and so forth.

I would appreciate your honest&informed opinion re this question.

Thanks and Blessings, Damon.

Thanks Damon for asking my opinion, I apologize in advance for my long answer. First let me say that I respect different views honestly held, what follows is my view, which could of course be mistaken.

Do I believe the pandemic is real? Yes. I know Christian doctors who have served valiantly and selflessly on Covid wards. I trust their experience, integrity and knowledge. Knowledge is the first Biblical principle that for me applies here. Proverbs 18:15 says, "The heart of the discerning acquires knowledge, for the ears of the wise seek it out." (NIV)

And Proverbs 10:14 says, "The wise store up knowledge..." Therefore I believe that those who work hard to become experts in fields deserve honour and respect rather than suspicion. We need to be discerning and examine evidence to find the truth. However, there has been a tendency in secular society to dismiss the views and evidence of experts, especially if they are not inline with what people want to hear. I think this is dangerous and echoes Paul's warning, "For the time will come when people will not put up with sound doctrine. Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear." (2 Timothy 4:3 NIV)

I have also listened to a Christian medical professor, who was involved in vaccine development, talking about the vaccine. Based on this and other evidence, I believe the vaccines that have been approved are as safe as any medicine. I believe the medical advice that taking the vaccine not only reduces the risk to me, but also the risk to people I have contact with. For me, this is the overriding Christian reason for getting vaccinated, because getting vaccinated is loving my neighbor. I am prepared to take a very small personal risk if it will benefit others.

I have heard people say that they are trusting God rather than the vaccine, but to me there is no difference between trusting God by not having the vaccine, or trusting God by getting vaccinated. In either case there is risk, and therefore an opportunity to trust God.

What concerns me about not having the vaccine is the risk that we might be putting God to the test. As I'm sure you know, this was one of Satan's temptations to Jesus. To me, testing God is not doing all that I can, to the best of my knowledge, to take care of myself and others. We can then trust God to take care of the things that are beyond our control. As David said, "In peace I will lie down and sleep, for you alone, Lord, make me dwell in safety" (Psalm 4:8 NIV). And yet David did not stand motionless on the battlefield expecting God to do all the fighting for him. In my view we should trust God and do all that we can, in any aspect of life, unless, as sometimes happens, God tells us to stand still and wait.

You asked what I think the Lord Jesus would do. John says that Jesus came "full of grace and truth." (John 1:14) Therefore I think he would be gracious to all and he would speak the truth. Jesus came not "to be served but to serve and give his life as a ransom for many" (Matthew 20:28 NIV). Therefore, Jesus would serve those in need. I know a retired Christian nurse who volunteered to go back and serve in hospital at the height of the first wave. I admire that as a selfless and Christ-like thing to do.

I have one last point, which I include because I feel that God brought it to my attention this week. Psalm 1:1 says, "Blessed is the one who does not walk in step with the wicked or stand in the way that sinners take or sit in the company of mockers". When I read this, what jumped out at me, that I had never seen before, was that being in the company of mockers involves sitting. This brought to mind that mockers (people who criticise, belittle or ridicule others) do their mocking from the sidelines; they judge those who are working hard, while they themselves do nothing to help. Servants do what they can to help others. Therefore it seems to me that we should avoid those who seek to pass judgement on others, while they themselves are "sat down", not actively trying to help, or who have no specialist knowledge of a situation. Unfortunately social media encourages this kind of behaviour, and therefore we should be careful who we listen to.

May the Lord grant us all love, wisdom and discernment, as we seek to do what pleases him.

Damon Hunter Evening brother David,

So! That's a no then? (In answer to my question ie "do you believe the plandenic is a deception?"

Sorry to say brother, but much of your response feels&sounds to me as though you've picked-out some Scripture that 'you, yourself' believe is the right response without actually having a good understanding of what these verses actually mean (in the right context anyhow).

I am not going to waste my time going to&fro here, as it is pretty obvious we are worlds apart with what we, ourselves, regard as Truth (the Way to salvation).

You state that you believe the official narrative, even though the whole world has been collectively shut-down for a perceived killer virus, this despite the fact that the common flu has been proven to cause more fatalities.

Some adverse measures taken by our authorities to combat this very contagious killer virus that we, as a whole, need to consider carefully, lest we be decieved.

1) the whole world has been shut down, including churches, for a killer virus that has seen less than 0.029% of fatalities.

2) we have been advised by our governing bodies, in varying degrees, to only meet physically with anything from 2 to 6 people, this despite the fact a germ cannot discern between 2, 6, or even a hundred individuals (clearly about control).

3) where-ever one looks, permenant looking additions added to trains, shops, airports, schools ie everywhere, have been put in place, many way before any laws were passed concernng the longevity of the virus (very early on, suggesting planned-demic).

4) ceaseless&draconian style propoganda&measures have been implemented to make sure the masses comply with new guidelines (think big brother 1984).

5) anybody attempting to share their own point of view ie information regarding what they feel is relevant info concerning the plandamic ie 5g as an example, have been ruthlessly shut-down and ridiculed as disinformation agents ie "the sowers of discord with itching ears who adhere to false doctrines" .......(presumably because they are simple&backward).......does the Lord or God prohibit us from doing what we wish? Answer, NO.

6) which kingdom stands to profit most given the afore mentioned, the kingdom of Satan, or the Kingdom of God?

7) which of those people are most like those described in the Holy Bible, those who follow the crowd and do as they are told (think Nazi' and Jews along with Stalin ie Communism and Christians, where untold millions perished with hardly a shot fired, or those people who who used their Common Sense ie God Given Senses by verifying the Truth of the matter.......if you think that not owning&wearing a mask for the last 18months has been easy, then think again brother (we Endure, as per our instructions from the LORD).

Wisdom comes from the fear of the Lord , and Truth ie knowledge, comes from being obedient to the Lord. That is to say, hearing His voice and being obedient to His
Will, not that of the world&man.

I would sincerely urge you to go&look at the origins of who, exactly, disovered what a virus is and its purpose.

"A mountaun of lies can be built off the back of one basic Truth, but dig down deep and remove that Truth and place it atop the mountain of lies, then that mountain will soon collapse under the weight of that one basic Truth"

Delamur Duveras

Incidently, the NIV Bible you read from is approx 60,000 words short of the original greek texts (sometimes missing whole verse). The 1611 KJV (authorised version) is the 'only' scource of infalible Truth with regards the Word of God, not the 'nearly inspired version' you appear to put your faith in brother.......William Wescot Wynn, an occultist, compiled many other Bibles from the gnostic texts of Alexandria. Inspired? Maybe, but not the Word of God.

"And if any man shall take away from the words of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things that are written in this book"

Revelations 22:19

If your search is sincere and you Truly wish to learn the Truth of this world, then put your Faith 100% in the Lord Almighty ie Jesus Christ, and it shall be well with you&yours brother (show humilty and ask forgiveness, a good place to start, works for myself).

Lastly, i would strongly recommend you watch a video sermons by Kieth Malconson entitled Are You Brainwashed (Coming Deception)?

And a Derek Prince video sermon "Take Heed You Are Not Deceived" as is very insightful and revealing.

David Knott | 55 comments Thanks for your reply Damon, I understand better where you are coming from now. As you say, we are very far apart in our thinking.

I have been a Bible teacher for over 30 years, and take correctly handling the word of truth very seriously. I find studying the original Greek and Hebrew, very helpful.

So we will have to agree to disagree. However I hope that we can agree on the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ, who is "the way the truth and the life", and that no one can come to the Father except by him. It is to him that we all must give an account.

Great responses and tact, David.

I'm happy you have the patience and skill to address this issue of the vaccines in a godly manner.

God bless you.

Damon Hunter Good evening David,

So be it brother. One thing i will add before i sign off (and please dont feel obliged to answer), but just how is the father of lies&deceit (el psycho Satan the devil), supposed to deceive the 'whole' world into worshipping him unless he first decieves the worlds governments into complying with his ideology?

Unlike yourself, i do not feel as though i could be mistaken re anything posted here, the only uncertainty i habe is regards just who&when these Biblical End Time events will transpire, but the evidence suggests soon (sooner than most would imagine).

The Lord be with you David and give you strength&courage brother.
