G. (goodreadscomg_valkyrie) | 6 comments Hello all, I wanted to join a group of people who love reading and discussing books like I do most of my friends are more into video games not books. I love reading most anything mostly fantasy and contemporary is what i pick up on my own. My favorite author currently is Stephen King. I am here to try and find some booky friends and to branch out of my comfort zone a bit both with my reading and with talking to new people more. I usually dont post to any kind of social anything but I'm working on that.

Francesca (frankiipoo) Heya! I am like you in that I don't usually post socially. I love books with all my heart and more but they seem to be out of fashion with friends god knows why. I actually have my own library in my home, I love to just walk in the room and admire my collection. I get excited choosing my next book and I also own three kindles. Safe to say I have a serious problem.

Feel free to add me as a friend and we can comment and discuss our reads together. I always try to write a review when I have time, I love all different genres but mostly into fantasy, historical fiction, thriller, mystery...OK I think I might end up writing all genres here if I don't stop!

I think my favourite writer is F Paul Wilson as I just love his adversary cycle and repairman Jack series. he is completely off people's radar though which is sad really as his books are amazing!

I am interested to hear your favourite Stephen King book as I have yet to try his books and I do have a few of them. The Shining has been on my radar for some time.

Hi, Just saw this I am not use to how these boards work yet.. I do love fantasy and thrillers kinda got away from mystery recently i got more into horror last year and am continuing that.

I have never hear of F Paul Wilson i will have to check him out.

My first ever SK book was cycle of the werewolf (as i love werewolves and that got me interested in reading more so of course i read the shining next and absolutely loved it I'm actually rereading it now! if you like long books try The Stand as it has some bearing on current events which i enjoyed.

Clay W (vexest) | 8 comments Hey G! Stephen King is definitely one of my all time favorite authors, been through around 40 of his novels, they're not all masterpieces but they are all entertaining. Just got The Institute in the mail and am seriously looking forward to one of his fast-paced reads. If you haven't read it, I highly recommend The Long Walk - though I've been a huge fan of his for many years that one slipped past my radar and I absolutely loved it.

Looking forward to your opinions on King's works and whatever you read next!

A home library... the dream! We've got bookshelves all throughout the house but the end goal is assuredly to have a dedicated room at some point.

I'll add an F Paul Wilson book to my TBR pile, never heard of him but he looks right up my alley!
