Help for a Wedding reading....

Hi everyone! Bit of a random one from me...I'm getting married later this year and thinking about readings...I'd love a literary excerpt and wondered if you have any ideas???

I performed the wedding ceremony for my little sister a few years ago, and the poem that I liked a lot was from a John Scalzi book.

But the quality of that belonging

I do not belong to you

Like a purchase

Something ordered and sold

And delivered in a box

To be put up and shown off

To friends and admirers.

I belong to you like a ring on a finger

A symbol of something eternal.

Beating in time to another heart.

Because in where I hold my hopes
