Does Goodreads ever respond to flagged reviews

Leah, you have nothing to worry about...that review is very obviously a personal vendetta, just read it. And your book is holding up very, very well even with that 1 star rating!! Although, I do understand your frustration.

Leah, it's obvious to anyone who reads this review that it says nothing about the book.
I just read it. She does say to message her if the message she received wasn't from you and she'll take the review down. While I can see why you wouldn't want to interact with her, have you considered doing as she asks and reassuring her the message was not from you?

Hi Leah, sorry to hear about the irrelevant review. I can tell you that I've been trying to have 13 1-star ratings/reviews removed since February (I was the victim of an extortion scam) but I haven't even had one of my dozens of messages acknowledged by Goodreads. Flagging has not worked for me.

I'm afraid you can't remove a book from Goodreads. Once it's available for sale, it stays there for the benefit of people who might have purchased it.
