Max decides to take the job with Ben Lawson after Scott Sheldon’s case was resolved. Why?

Anita (anitanodiva) | 3009 comments She was intrigued with the show concept and felt she could do some good to resolve some cold cases.

Sharon Kallenberger Marzola | 3534 comments It is going to make a good series!

She took the job because Ben gave her control. Now she can shine the spotlight on wrongs and work for justice using a medium that a lot more people will see.

Robin (robinmy) | 2485 comments I think she took the job because Scott's friends got off so easily. If she was already doing the show during this case, she could have spotlighted how justice wasn't served and Scott's friends got only a slap on the wrist. Changes are sometimes made when the story is brought forth through the media.

Since Ben has promised her control of the content of the show, she can pick and chose what she wants to investigate and how the show is run.

I agree with you completely, Robin. Max felt frustrated with that outcome and saw that show as a platform for victims like Scott.

Sharon Kallenberger Marzola | 3534 comments I agree. I think this case made Max's decision for her. She needs a bigger platform to highlight her cases. If she has control, she can deal with Ben.

I feel confident she can handle Ben, too.

Melissa (melissasd) | 676 comments I think she did it because she realized that TV exposure may help solve some of the cases she took. It would also open the eyes of the public if they were able to see the case from start to finish and the justice (or injustice) that followed.
