Finished reading The Shadow Rising. Another great entry in the series. Gets 5 stars from me. Now, onto the next book in series The Fires of Heaven
Just finished Nolyn. Supported the Kickstarter, so got it early. I really enjoyed it a lot, and can't wait for what's next. And now I'm starting Dune. This would be my first time reading it. :O
I've been working on City of Lies for awhile. It's good, I've just had a tough time reading much lately. Also started A Brightness Long Ago on audio.

Hope that you enjoy Dune. I think it's a great book that has definitely stood the test of time.
I've just finished Where Dragons Collide which is the final book in the Dragon ridden saga. I enjoyed it but felt that quite a bit of it was spent tying up all the loose ends from the previous books .

So far it definitely seems like something that could have been written today.
After I read The Grey Bastards, I read Shield Knight: Ghost Orcs, In the Land of Hershel, and Barrowlands. Now I'm reading Acacia: The War with the Mein.
Decided to do a dive into Appendix N with Fred Saberhagen's Empire of the East. (I read some number of the Swords and Lost Swords books back in high school, but at that point I didn't realize they were continuations of an earlier trilogy.)
I finished The Ship of the Dead last night. Another I really enjoyed, but thinking Riordan is making the resolutions too easy for the characters. His books have been my bed time reading binge for a while now. Going to wait a little while before starting the final series. And in the meantime I'll start something new for bedtime, which I'll be deciding fairly soon.
I finally finished The Blacktongue Thief. It’s been months! Love the plot and characters. The world building is great. But his writing just grates. It has that humorous first person type that I hate!!
Finished Acacia: The War with the Mein, Assassin's Blade: The White Mage Saga Prequel, The Silent Blade, The Renegade Apprentice and New Found Land: The Long Haul. All were great reads. Now I'm reading Nolyn. As usual Micheal J. Sullivan is great.
I decided to make August a month for chunkier books I guess. So just two finished again. They were both great though.Nolyn ★★★★★
The Ship of the Dead ★★★★★
