Anyone else would've liked to see more of Chief Anderson?

Lisa Or discuss the character? He was my favourite character in the entire novel but as is usual for side-characters, he gets snuffed immediately after he's outplayed his role and did not get proper closure.

Though he seemed like the macho stereotype in the beginning, he came across as the most relateable and human of the lot, in both immediate reactions and musings. I liked his releatable reaction to the bizareness of the discoveries in the SBB basement and the baffled eerieness he felt as he saw these strange things in this building he thought he knew every corner of. He deserved a better arch than being knocked over deus-ex-machina-style by a 70+ y/o slender man and left with a headache, a threat of a CIA interrogation, and possible unemolyment. I wonder what happened to him.

Leona I am reading now and they are in the basement.
