for me, it's helpful to have someone in your team that is able to make a shield such as Diona, Xinyan, Noelle, Beidou, Zhongli, Kaeya, etc. I use Zhongli the most for this and it really helps me-

Its also helpful to have a healer. Diona is able to make a shield and heal so she's pretty cool-

Into the Mountain - Starglow Cavern

Attempt 1: Fail. Didn't make past round 1. Used Cryo, Geo, Pyro and Electro.
Attempt 2: Fail. Couldn't make a dent in round 2, but discovered overloaded's worth in the challenge. Used same team as #1.
Attempt 3: Fail. Finished round 2 three seconds before time was up. Used Lisa, Klee, Yanfei and Kaeya for some reason? Maybe we forgot to switch him out?
Attempt 4: Fail. Finished three rounds with only geo traveller. Had 1:04 until time was up. Need to drastically improve pyro elemental mastery. Used Geo traveller, Lisa, Yanfei, and Klee.
Attempt 5: Success! Team used and each one's purpose: (view spoiler)[
- Geo Traveller -> To start the challenge. Activation is located in the middle of the pool, so use someone that isn't needed right away.
- Diluc -> Literally the entire thing w/ pyro.
- Yanfei -> Charge attack's knockback for any close to the edge of the pool.

It is, in my eyes, an unspoken rule of this game.
The impossible quest that blocks ability to co-op.
The arguably the hardest quest in the game besides "Into the Mountain."
I got trapped with this quest, and so here are the teams I used to pass it...four months after I picked it up:


Floor 1 - Electro Infusion

I can't remember who I used, but I know Kaeya and Klee were involved. (Back when Klee was my main pyro.)
Basically Cyro and Pyro elements are the best elements to use.

Floor 2 - Pyro infusion This floor was the most difficult for me.

Actually, those were the only two I used for this floor. No one else was used. But the other two in the team was Kaeya and Qiqi. Idk why, tho, since Reverse Melt isn't the best way to go about it. Neither of them had any decent EM, so... *shrugs*

Floor 3 - Freeze + Cryo Infusion Arguably the worst floor.

Lvl 70 Qiqi as Freeze starter on Hydro mobs
(view spoiler)[I basically used her EB as soon as the hydro mobs came up to freeze them, and then carried on to Kaeya with his EB. That's it, really.
- Lvl 40 Sacrificial Sword. The sword wasn't my biggest priority at the time, just Diluc and Kokomi. (hide spoiler)]
Lvl 73 Kaeya as Sub DPS + Keeping the Freeze Reaction up

Lvl 70 Diluc as Pyro DPS

Lvl 60 Yanfei as Pyro DPS
(view spoiler)[Again, same with Diluc but much more focused on EM. I didn't have the luxury of another 4 star pyro-cup so I switched everything Lisa had onto Yanfei. (hide spoiler)]
I killed off the hydro mobs before going all out on the cryo mobs and cryo hilicurls.


Also Elemental DMG pots were extremely helpful. With the pyro infusion floor, I obviously used Electro, but Kokomi was actually more effective, somehow?
On the third floor I used Pyro DMG for Diluc and Yanfei once the hydro mobs were out of the way. As long as the hydro appliers arn't doing anything, there's basically zero problems minus the time frame. Don't hold back on anything, tho.
Also, Delicious Adeptus Temptation was used. Very much recommended.

P.S.: I completed this one on PC, but I'm pretty sure there won't be any differences for this trial in particular. I'm not sure about the parkour time challenge, tho. You require to use either Keqing or geo traveller for it. There's literally no other way. I used Geo traveller, and this was before Inazuma came out. I had a mini-mental breakdown before rage continuing. The torch trial is kinda weird, so try to find photos, gifs or a video of the process.

It all depends on what you tend to invest in the most. Me, fir example, I am a big DPS fan, so Geo Traveller, Kaeya, Diluc, Lisa, Yanfei, and Ningguang come first and in that order. Next comes my two healers, Kokomi and Qiqi. After them, it's my backup characters: Klee, Chongyun, Sara, Hu Tao, Razor, and some others. There is no order for this one, of course. Currently, I'm giving Hu Tao my attention, as I plan to move her up into my most used teams.

I always suggest maxing out Traveller, because they are the only one who can use ES and EB against the first fight with Ei. There are some quests were you can only use Traveller, so no matter how much one may dislike using them, they are a big must-have-maxed-first.


If anyone needs help with ascension boss mats, I'm completely available. I can do pretty much everything except shields, atm. I'm slowly finding Primo Geovishap easier as I fight him more and learn when I need to run out of range of the shower. I can help up to WL 4 atm. I have mastered Electro Hypo with only C5 Yanfei, and Hydro/Anemo/Geo Hypo are becoming insanely easy for me, as well as cryo flower. I'm still learning pyro flower.
The only ones I need more time with is everything else in Inazuma. However, I haven't tackled Thunder Manifestation since Yanfei was lvl 50, so... There could be a big power difference now. I just need to watch its movements.

YAY!!! I get super invested into gaming and sometimes my anxiety helps me pick up on things along the way, fAtUi SkIrmIsHeRs. Tbh, we need to thank Diluc. I stepped out of my bubble for him, and then I discovered how to unalive the bloody skirmishers.
