I was hoping to get back to this today (well, now it's yesterday since it's 12:25 AM) I love it when it works out for us to actually read our books at approximately the same time so we can talk about them better. Sometimes when I read a book after you do I'm not always sure what your comments are about since we use a lot of pronouns and gereral statements. I watch the grandkids again tomorrow so fingers crossed! We had THREE books to begin today. lol

Zach (view spoiler)[ doesn't seem to be honestly protective of Kirsten. Based on what Mender heard it sounds like he's possibly doing something that could hurt Kirsten. (hide spoiler)]

Larry (view spoiler)[what a creep! Looks like he would've molested Kirsten if Zach hadn't come along. And OMG she has already killed! (hide spoiler)]

This one was WAY better that The Guilt Trip! There are twists and turns that are reasonable and not over the top, plus we have (view spoiler)[two women who solve their own problems. (hide spoiler)]

As it turns out (view spoiler)[Jeanne is not who she presented herself to be. You know what's weird? I literally suspected her to have something to do with it but I couldn't figure out what. I just thought she was TOO concerned with taking the baby off of Flora's hands, so for some reason that made me suspicious.

I love how it ended. Do you think there's going to be a book 2 or that was just an ending that made you go ... oh my gosh...hmm? (hide spoiler)]

interesting that she's a target but not her husband at this point
makes me wonder if whoever hired this hitman was the business partner or someone we haven't met yet

but what is the bad thing her husband did for her? that her foster brother knows about? Did they kill her dad/step dad? something is definitely off here
and. . .she's a recovering alcoholic maybe?

I'm not sure what to make of Flora either. She's a little scattered at the moment and the money angle is interesting (hide spoiler)]

goodreads looks like everyone loves it so hopefully there will be one. I would be interesting to see how long Annie waits and what the widows have accomplished since then!! (hide spoiler)]
