Personality:
As her name implies, Aella is a whirlwind. She never stays in one place for too long and cannot, just cannot, sit still. She's smart too, having inherited her brains from her mother but she prefers to use it to cause mischief and make people smile rather than at school for studies that she wouldn't need for survival. She's got this... Feel to her. Like she's friendly and you know you can trust her. Aella is also stubborn. When she believes she is right, she stands by her argument. And while this is considered good at some times, at other times it can also be quite annoying. She's bold and blunt, sometimes hesitant to skirt around topics and preferring to outright state what she thinks. But the girl can definitely keep a secret.
History:
Having been raised in a family that was quite familiar with the Greek World, Aella already knew a lot to help her survive. She knew about monsters, about the gods, about Camp Half-Blood, celestial bronze weapons and so much more. She grew up with stories of her mom and dad's quests. Well, by dad she meant her stepfather. He came into her and her mom's life when Aella was four and had helped her mom raise her. As far as she knew, he was her dad. She was taught how to fight by her mom while her dad taught her to have a bit of patience, to relax and to treat basic injuries. She arrived at Camp Half-Blood, running from monsters that were attacking her and one of her best friends. It turns out that her best friend was also a demigod and both fought off the monsters, managing to sustain minimal injuries from the fight and arrive at Camp Half-Blood in one piece. She's stayed at Camp for most of her life but does go to visit her family with whom she has an extremely good relationship, something not really found with most demigods. Her biological father... We'll she hardly knows the guy so she doesn't put much thought into him. You shouldn't either. If he cared then he would have given her some sort of sign that he did. If he doesn't care about her then why should she waste even a fraction of a second thinking about the guy?

((Maybe he's the kind of person who bites off more than he can chew? Like he's ambitious and independent, though he's a bit too independent for his own good? Maybe he's a bit reckless, and that's why he got lost in the Labyrinth to begin with, along with over independence? Perhaps he's stubborn?))

appearance: vinnie has light blue, almost white eyes that contrast with his sienna-toned skin. his hair is a grayish color that looks unnatural, but it has been that way since he was born. he used to be very proud of the way he looked - not full of himself, but confident. he has prominent bone structure and a well-shaped face. he is 5'11, a very average height if not a little short for a demigod. he doesn't care much about his looks, but he makes sure to stay fit and strong. he likes to feel capable. ever since the attacks he experienced on his way to camp, however, he's had some deep scars marring his face, neck, and chest. the most noticeable is the scars running across his left eye, running from above his eyebrow sideways to right under his nose. it went through his eye. though he still has vision, it is blurry, and his eye is damaged. the scar is a dull whitish color. the two scars on his chest go the same direction, from his left shoulder across his collarbones to the right side of his waist. there is one scar on his throat parallel to the one on his face.
personality: vinnie is pretty confident. he is strong and capable, and he is pretty aware of that. although, he is also able to admit to his shortcomings and step down when he isn't up to the task. he tends to push himself very hard to improve. he can sometimes seem detached or flighty. he is a deep thinker and likes to use his head instead of his heart. he doesn't tend to get attached to anyone. he is not super dependable, as he listens to his own whims quite often, but he recognizes importance where it is due.

history: vinnie was raised by his mother in a rural, country area. his mom was pretty attentive, caring for him and his younger siblings. his half father was alright. he cared more for vinnie's younger siblings than vinnie himself, but he always understood his father's preference. the family was in the lower middle class, living off of farming, so when vinnie was twelve, he helped his family on the farm, using his newfound abilities. he would notice strange things some days when he went to school - shadows following him, weird noises from around the corners, etcetera. eventually, a hydra attacked his family home, aiming for vinnie. he managed to fight it off, but couldn't kill it, and tried to protect his family for as long as he could. one night, it snuck up on him and caused him extensive injuries. it killed his younger sister and the family dog. vinnie ran, knowing the hydra was after him, and eventually it lost his trail. he was found by a satyr and escorted to camp.
