What NetGalley books do you currently have?

I got an audio book called The House Sitter a little over a week ago.
And now it is gone.
Not in my books anymore. How can it be archived so quickly? It was Not allowed to download so it just disappeared?
Can someone explain this to me?

I don't know either, Vicki. I've never gotten a book and had it not allowed to download. I'd contact either NG or the publisher. Sometimes they'll send you a new copy.

I am wondering if I made a mistake bc it was an audio and i saw it in the app on my phone. So maybe I did that wrong. Anyway... Now i have a book listed in the archived section which makes me feel like i am on the naughty list.
Does that ever go away?

I don't think so. If you can get it from the library or something you can still read it and review it. Then it would go away. Otherwise, I think it stays there.

No, it doesn't go away unless you review it. I've gotten a book right before it archived and didn't download it in time. The audiobooks especially because it's not just a matter of clicking "send to kindle," you have to actually download it to the app or it will disappear when it archives.

Yes Elise, that is exactly what happened to me. I contacted NG, but they told me to contact the publisher. I did that, but we will see if I hear something back. Now I know I have to download it to the app so it won't happen again.

Added Nights of Plague and Two Nights in Lisbon. TNIL got good reviews from a couple of folks at the Around the World, another group I’m a member of, so I requested it even though it was published last month. I just started it to get going.

I got approved for CJ Tudor's new book ! It doesn't publish till December. She writes good supernatural mystery/thrillers! I've read and and I own a couple others.

I've only read one of her books, The Other People, and it looks like I gave it 3.5. I would like to read more now that I read more thrillers these days. I'll be watching to see what you think of that new one, Elyse.

I think audiobooks disappear even if you’ve downloaded them once they’re archived. I had that happen to me.

It's not available on NetGalley just yet, but I got The Soulmate by Sally Hepworth from Edelweiss. It doesn't publish until April, so I'm sure it will be up on NetGalley soon too. If anyone ends up getting it and wants to buddy read just let me know. I'm not planning on it until after the new year. So plenty of time.

Oh! I am going to look for that one too. I have read 3 by here and loved 2 of them. I gave The Mother in Law 3 stars, but I dont remember exactly why.

So this happened to me what this is that the book archived before you downloaded it. That's what happened to me so what I ended up doing was getting the book from my library and read it and did a review to get it removed from where it was at. I

Currently reading When stars come out " & The stone road". So, I'm reading a lot of dead people talking, lol. But loving both this far.

I just got The Neighborhood . It comes out August 9th, so I will probably have to read it just after the publishing date. It looks so good though and this is a new author for me. It's still available as an ebook or audio, so I'm happy to buddy read if anyone else has it or gets it.
