I got approved for
today but when I went to add it to my GRs shelf I noticed it had a really low rating, 3.14!! I hope it's not that bad, lol. I think the cover first attracted me to the book.

I hate when that happens, Tasha! Usually I try to read a few reviews to see why it is rated so poorly. Sometimes the thing that makes someone give it a low rating is something I typically enjoy. Good luck!
Edit: Interesting that it's been longlisted for 2022 Women's Prize for Fiction.

I did notice that after quickly glancing at a couple reviews. I'll let you guys know how it goes. Maybe it will be really good!
Got approved for:Lost to the World: A Memoir of Faith, Family, and Five Years in Terrorist Captivity
and
The Book Spy.
I'm not sure the last time I updated, but I recently got approved for Cursed
. It is the follow-up to Gilded. I'm excited to see how the story ends.
I also just got Friendshipped
. This is the first book I've read by this author and it looks really cute.
I am also expecting a physical copy of The Angel Maker
. This will be my third book by Alex North and I thought the first two were great, so I'm really looking forward to it.
Funny that they are three completely different genres, but that is perfect for me. Now I just need to figure out how to fit in the first two really quickly. The Angel Maker doesn't publish until February, so I have plenty of time for that one, but the other two both publish this month.

Looks good, Kristie! It's always the issue, isn't, trying to fit books in! lol. I remember days going to the library and getting one or two books out and taking my time reading them. Not since GRs!

from BookishFirst! Denied on NG. I also enjoyed his other 2 and can't wait to read this one!
I've really slowed down in my requesting of books. It was purposeful for a bit but now I think I've got into a habit. I think I'll go over and check things out this morning, maybe request a couple of books.
I did that too, Tasha. Then, I went and requested too many. lol I'm trying for a happy place somewhere in the middle.

Lilisa wrote: "I’ve avoided browsing for quite a while too. I may break down and check this weekend!"We might end up with a lot of books! :)
I'm so excited that I just received widget for Hello Stranger by Katherine Center. I love her books. :) It doesn't publish until July, so lots of time to read it!
