as well!
I picked up The Nazi Conspiracy: The Secret Plot to Kill Roosevelt, Stalin, and Churchill - sounded interesting!
Kristie wrote: "It does sound interesting! I hope it's well-written and engaging, Lilisa."Me too, Kristie although I won’t know for awhile! It publishes in January so it’s going to the bottom of my list for now :-)
If that is well-written I am sure it will be fascinating. I'll keep an eye out for your review later in the year. :)

I can do tomorrow. I'm almost done the audiobook I'm listening to.
Excellent, Elyse!

I will be traveling on the 22nd-23rd of this month. My current plan is to listen to Lavender House over those two days while driving. I'm more than happy to jump in on a discussion, but I know it's already late.

Sure, Thereadingbell. Are you ready to start The Ex Wives soon? When were you planning to read Lavender House?
Discussion thread for Lavender House is here: https://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/... I put it in the calendar for the 22nd, because that's when I plan to read it, but I can change it if other people want to read it sooner. I have no problem just jumping in later with my thoughts.
I am so happy that I just got Cursed
! It is the follow up to Gilded by Marissa Meyer. I really enjoyed that one and I'm looking forward to hearing the second half of the story.

Yay, my wish was granted and I got I Am My Country: And Other Stories.I also got Picture in the Sand.
I just received The Lindbergh Nanny
. I've never read anything by this author, but it looks like just the sort of book I typically love. A quick look at her past books makes me think this is a little different from her previous work. Hopefully, it's what I'm expecting. :)

Nice, Elyse! I almost requested Five Survive. I read A Good Girl's Guide to Murder by the same author and thought is was really good. I hesitated because I have so many ebooks right now. I'm hoping they offer the audio.

I only read the first one, but would like to read the other two. I just haven't gotten around to them yet.

Lilisa, you always have such interesting choices! I'm curious about I Am My Country, sounds very interesting.
I think it was from you I heard about that Iceland book and after reading it I put that on the bucket list (the one in my head, lol) and now we are booked to go in Feb! I'm so excited. It's just a long weekend but it is with friends so should be fun!
Lots of approvals this weekend, congrats! I haven't tried for anything lately other that Lavender House, which is still pending. I need to take a look through NG later. lol

I've only "been there" once on a layover to Germany.

Oh, wow, so awesome! So excited for you - can’t wait to hear what you think. Early yet but hope you have a wonderful time! 🙂
BTW Tasha, you may consider checking out Secrets of the Sprakkar: Iceland's Extraordinary Women and How They Are Changing the World written by Eliza Reid, the Canadian wife of the president of Iceland - it’s really interesting!
I see it really short so I should be able to squeeze it in this coming month, and it's 'non-fic November' so it's perfect!

Great! We are only there for a few nights but I already think it's a place we will want to return to with the family. lol. We already booked a northern lights tour and I have a Fodor's book to look through as well.

Oh bummer, Tasha. Although, good that they have it at your library. I was just saying to my husband that I need to remember that I can read books after they publish! I don't need to stress myself out getting to everything I want to read before the pub date. lol

I feel that Kristie! It's hard not to get stressed about it! I just had a few that I didn't get done for October and the guilt is real! I'm trying desperately to get them done the first week of November. It's silly, I know it's advertising no matter when I get the review done, but ugh!

This one looks really good. I am hoping they offer the audio, but I may request anyway. I just need to get caught up a bit again first.
